Member Protection in the NT

In affiliating with Tennis NT, all members (also known as affiliates) are required to adopt and utilise the Tennis Australia Member Protection Policy.

The policy has been developed as part of Tennis Australia’s ongoing commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of its members and participants. Tennis NT and all our affiliates have a responsibility to provide a child safe environment.

Member Protection is all about practices and procedures which protect a sports organisation’s members including athletes, administrators, coaches and officials.

The Member Protection Policy outlines a specific Code of Conduct, the procedural obligations of Australian Tennis Organisations and the policies surrounding Child Protection, Harassment, Abuse, Discrimination and Social Networking, as well as the complaints procedure.

The Tennis Australia Member Protection Policy is available here.

Any questions or complaints regarding a member protection issue can be sent to Tennis NT at [email protected].
