We are hoping to have the right individual/s join our fantastic team of coaches with opportunities for both younger coaches looking to start their coaching journey or career coaches looking for further opportunities moving to be a head coach of one of our venues.

The hours will initially be a minimum of 25-28 hours per week. The coach must be reliable, enthusiastic, willing to learn and grow and motivated to build and grow relationships with all students and parents alike. Uniform is provided as well as numerous PD opportunities with PTTA. This job allows you to have security in your role as well as building/growing and giving you the opportunity to run your own venue in the future. Ability to restring racquets would be preferable however we are able to teach you as well!

Role responsibilities include:

• Delivering programs to all levels/standards of players – Hot shots to adults. Goal is to ensure we create a love of the game of tennis in an enjoyable and inclusive environment
• Squad coaching & private lessons
• Develop and grow coaching relationships with players, the club, parents to help promote and grow the program at PTTA
• Implement and add to lesson plans and program pathway delivered at PTTA.

Your hands-on approach and ability to understand the basics of tennis is fundamental, along with the responsibility of devising lesson plans for our coaching team. There’s also an optional opportunity to engage in administrative work, and most importantly, this role offers ample space for personal and professional growth, serving as an excellent stepping stone for those eyeing their future tennis club.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and elevate the junior tennis program with your expertise and passion
• Conduct engaging and skill-focused private lessons for various skill levels children & adults
• Act as an emergency coach for the adult program, stepping in when required.
• Design and manage lesson plans for the coaching team

This position is responsible for the ongoing management and financial sustainability of BRTC and to ensure its operations aligns with the club’s mission and vision.
